Yum! It would be easy to overlook Sorella's and walk right past it on your way to the Milkyway (R.I.P.) located in the heart of Jamaica Plain on 366 Center Street (617-524-2016). By their modest, hole-in-the-wall outside appearance it's hard to guess that their breakfast dishes are everything but modest. If you're looking to try fun, new, fresh breakfast dishes, this is definitely the place for you. Sorella's still offers traditional meal
Instead of a pumpkin product, I opted for Meggy's Omelet, which was stuffed with dill, red peppers, zucchini, portabello mushrooms, spinach, avacado, oliveda sauce, ricotta and chedder cheese, and topped with sprouts. The omelet was stuffed so full I couldn't even finish it! There were many other omelets that have crazy combinations to choose from, and I plan on trying a few more.
The place itself is quite small inside, but apparently there is also an upstairs seating area. They have octagon shaped coffee mugs, which is probably a weird detail to point out - but I was a virgin to this concept of a geometrically adapted coffee mug (it takes some getting used to).
Overall, I cannot wait to go back to Sorella's to try new omelets and get more pumpkin products. This breakfast place is an easy bike ride, but also accessible by the "39" bus or the orange line. The bill was a little steep, it came to $19.95 for a breakfast sandwich, a 1/2-stack of pumpkin French toast, and Meggy's omelet.
I refuse any excuses for not trying Sorella's breakfast.
Pros: fresh ingredients, lots of vegetables, pumpkin products, accessible by bike, train, or bus, basically EVERYTHANG is good here.
Cons: cash only (if you consider that enough of an inconvenience to be a con), a little pricey
Overall (on a scale of 1-5): 4.75

"This breakfast place is an easy bike ride."
Uh, I take issue with that comment. I almost had a heart attack biking up that hill up to JP.
