Susan Eats Pumpkin French Toast

Another delicious breakfast at Sorella's! This time I got just a regular American Cheese omelet (pictured below), which was nothing to brag about. It was a pretty run-of-the mill omelet. We did get a full stack of Pumkin-Rasin French Toast, which was superb.

Susan and her brother (Larry, another breakfast enthusiast) split some gingerbread pancakes (pictured below), which were extremely delicious. Outstandingly fantastic. They were warm, packed with flavor, and fluffy. Honestly, I need to know how to make these things. It almost tasted like I was eating a fluffy, warm, syrupy gingerbread cookie.

I think this journey pretty much confirms that you should come here to try new and exciting breakfast dishes. Their regular breakfast meals are pretty similar to anything else around the city.

FYI potato product connoisseurs: I HATED their home fries. They were horrible. When we questioned the waiter about what the chef uses to make them, he said "adobo, salt, pepper, and bacon fat". Gross. They tasted gross, had some weird red powder on them, and were soggy. They were probably some of the worst home fries I've ever had.

This time, only one of us got an octagon shaped mug.

The waitstaff was still mildly enjoyable, but more importantly they gave tons of refills on coffee. Yum.

We had 5 omelets, an order of French toast, and an order of pancakes and our bill was 56.01.

Still a rating of 4.75 (out of 5)
